James T. Tanner Memorial Fellowship

The award, granted by the Great Smoky Mountains Conservation Association, consists of a $10,000 stipend and is intended to support a full-time professional for 3 months or a graduate student for one year.
A special emphasis is placed on projects that demonstrate an applied research approach and produce lasting results for conservation of the park’s resources.
